Description:
Pin cushions have been made in every imaginable shape in times past. One example I have seen was a diminutive slipper that had a simple alphabet on the toe. I loved the small size of the slipper and wanted to interpret the slipper with a series of new designs. The basis of design for this slipper is the many Florentine (or Flame Stitch) pin cushions and purses seen in the late 1700s.
