Description: Pin cushions have been made in every imaginable shape in times past. One example I have seen was a diminutive slipper which had a simple alphabet on the toe. I loved the small size of the slipper and wanted to interpret the shoe with a series of new designs. The basis of the design for this slipper was a spot motif in Rice Stitch from a 17th century sampler at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Materials Recommended: 36 ct. Cream Edinburg Linen and nine colors of
Au Ver a Soie 100/3.
