This class will focus on teaching a selection of six goldwork stitches that you may not have seen before. They include interlacings and composite variations on ceylon stitch. During the class we will discuss these and other historical gold stitches and examine old examples to help us understand the creativity of the professional and amateur embroiderer of the past.
